ŽIV: PRINCAI REIŠKIA PARAMĄ GARETH THOMAS (VIDEO)

London. Buvęs Velso regbio žaidėjas Gareth Thomas (45) vaizdo įraše „Twitter“ paskelbė, kad jis metų metus yra užsikrėtęs ŽIV. Jo atviri žodžiai ne tik padarė įspūdį sporto pasaulyje, bet ir dviem Didžiosios Britanijos karališkosios šeimos nariams. Princo William (37) pareiškimą lydėjo princo Harry (35) palaikomasis pranešimas.

„Gareth, tu esi absoliuti legenda“, – oficialioje „Instagram“ paskyroje „sussexroyal“ cituojamas princas Harry. Dalydamasis savo istorija su pasauliu, Thomas išgelbėtų gyvybes ir kovotų su ŽIV stigma. „Jūs parodote, kad su diagnoze galite toliau stipriai ir nesunaikinamai gyventi“.

Gareth Thomas, kuris 2011 m. baigė savo sportininko karjerą, savo klipe teigė: „Noriu pasidalinti savo paslaptimi su jumis, nes mano pareiga jums tai pasakyti, o ne piktiems žmonėms, kurie mano gyvenimą daro pragaru, kurie grasina jums tai pasakyti“.
